Lopes wins California State Cyclocross Championships for the 2nd consecutive year!
While some of us were still coming out of our Turkey coma, this past Sunday Lopes decided to try his luck with some skinny tires on his IBIS at SoCal State Cyclocross Championship in the Men’s Elite class. The race took place under blue skies at Verdugo Park in Glendale, Ca. The 2.7km course drew more than 500 participants, allowing the Elite men group to crank out 7:15 lap times.
Lopes confirmed that it was not an easy WIN as he had to put quite an effort to inch out Brent Prenzlow (Celo Pacific BRT).
