Lopes closes Cranworxs with a WIN!

Brian decided to bring his cross-country skills and back it with some DH speed at the Crankworxs Canadian Open Enduro 5-day stage.
A strategy that paid off as he squeezed out some of the World’s heavy hitters off the 1st place podium. Lopes clocked a combined time of 25:42.74; beating Nicolas Vouilloz (FRA) who came in second at 25:54.18; and snagging the title from defending champion Remy Absalon (FRA) who completed in 26:09.78.
Lopes who rode his all-mountain Ibis Mojo HD for the event, was joined by a fellow Ibis-riding athlete Anne-Caroline Chausson at the podium. Anne-Caro dominated the women’s race by over 3 minutes.
