After a disappointing result in Nove Mesto na Morave, Czech Rep. Brian set out with new determination to get redemption. Thankfully the course in La Bresse was better suited for his technical skills and explosive start making him a favorite.

Despite the obvious format race changes that handicapped him, Brian was excited to tackle the 2nd XC Eliminator in Czech Republic yesterday. But to his and his fans disappointment he was eliminated in the 1st round.
It’s not that often that we get to catch up with MTB greats; Brian has been in competition since he was a child and winning at virtually every discipline he has entered. With the pedigree that finds him having his own signature knee pads and becoming “Mountain Bike World Champion” four times to a life lived at the limit, and beyond we throw some questions his way.
LAGUNA BEACH, CA (March 28, 2012) Early Saturday morning Lopes decided to take the drive out to Fontana and support the 2012 California Golden State Championship presented by his long time sponsor Kenda.
